Hostel for girls child labour
“Suchetana” is going to established a hostel for girls child labour. The need for providing Hostel to Child Labour (Girls) has been due to the changing pattern of life, rapid urbanization and industriization ans the resulting migration from rural to urban areas. The hostel will be constructed to accommodate 50 girls. We have suitable land for the construction of a child labour girls hostel.
Our objective is to provide children with the opportunity to better their lives through a structured educational program focused on social and intellectual development.
To established and run this project we need monetary support from all society i.e, Govt, Non Govt. grants, Private, Business as well as personal donations.For this project Fixed Expenditure like building, fencing , drinking water system, generator, furniture and car, we are in need of Rs. 50,00,000/-(fifty lacs) approximately. And recurring expenditures like food, cooking cost, books and copies, educational materials, dress materials, staffs, medical expenses, etc. we require Rs. 20,00,000/-(twenty lacs) approximately per year.
A Common Faciality Centre For Female Artisans
Female artisans who are beneficiaries of “Suchetana”, are mostly from BPL families. So they have not so much place to work and store their products. And also they can’t entertain any customer because unavailability of a definite sales counter. So Suchetana decided to established a Common Faciality Centre for those artisans who can work together under a safe shed and also can shell their products themselves. This may help and ensure to raise their monthly earnings.
For this faciality centre, Suchetana has its own land.We need monetary support from all aspects of our society. We need only fixed expenditure such as building, interlock and embrodary machines, drinking water system, power back-up system, etc. We are in need of 20,00,000(Twenty lacks) to set up this centre.
Sustaining and Expending the on-going Animal Husbandry and Agro-Tourism Project for Tribal Community
“Suchetana” adopted a tribal village namely “Faridpur” (which is situated near Bolpur-Santiniketan, Birbhum Dist,WB, India) to build up as a model village with an aim of all round development of tribal community such as education, health, hygiene, literacy programme, adult literacy, employment generation programme and tribal culture development. To promote these activities an integrated agro-farming project, adult literacy centre awareness camp and a culture centre have benn started.One night coaching is proceeding for adult literacy, different awareness camps have been arranged time to time on health & hygiene, mal nutrition, child marraige, green revolution, health check-up camps etc. In this year 2018 an animal husbandry project with Duckery, Goatery, Fishery and vegetable cultivation was started for five(5) self-help groups involving 71 tribal women in that village which is a Tribal Development Project of State Govt. and conducted by Suchetana. Through this project entire tribal community of that village will be socio-economically uplifted because through this project the women of the village will ensure and increase their monthly earnings.
Beside this we are also going to establish an agro-tourism project with 400 tribal people who will do organic farming through cultivation of seasonal crops, fruits, horticulture. Alongwith vermicomposting, mushroom cultivation, fishery, duckery, dairy, gotary. In this unit food processing unit will be there for spices, prickle, pulses, dry mushroom etc. We will arrange required training time to time for their sustainable development. This farm house will develop as a agro-tourism project where guest can see how they grow plants, how they are doing animal husbandry, how foods are making in food processing unit and they will enjoy totally organic food. For this we will arrange hospitality managment training for few groups who will look after the guests.
